These pages feature the Bronze Casting class critique of Spring, 1996. It was a memorable class for all of us as it was Holt Murray's last class before his retirement from teaching at Cabrillo College since the 1960's. It was a gathering of some very special talent and enthusiasm. We poured almost a ton of bronze this semester, and created at least 150 sculptures.
This is set up so you can click on a sculpture and get a larger picture of the artwork, or click on the name and get a picture of the artist, if I have one. Only a small portion of the people and sculpture is shown here. It was very difficult getting good images during the critique as it was very crowded with spectators wanting to see what we'd done.
